The 22-year-old Getafe star, who has broken into the Super Eagles setup, has been close to sealing a switch to the Premier League with Wolves after weeks of negotiations. Reports indicated the Midlands club had agreed to personal terms and was finalising payment structures with Getafe.
However, Milan—searching for midfield reinforcements following injuries and depth concerns ahead of their Serie A and Champions League campaigns—has entered the race. The Rossoneri are understood to be exploring whether they can match Wolves’ €20m valuation while offering Uche the lure of Champions League football.
Sources suggest Uche is open to the Milan option, though Wolves remain confident of completing the deal given their advanced talks and assurances of regular playing time in England.
