AC Milan Confirm Allegri Appointment
AC Milan have confirmed the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri as their new coach ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Italian manager is returning to the club for the second time after a successful spell in 2011 when he led them to the Italian Serie A title.
The Rossoneri endured a disappointing campaign, finishing eighth in Serie A, 19 points behind champions Napoli, and missed out on a place in UEFA competition.
Allegri signed a two-year deal to replace Sérgio Conceição, who was sacked on Thursday despite leading the club to the Italian Super Cup title in Saudi Arabia.
The former Juventus manager is expected to lead AC Milan back into the title reckoning following years of disappointments.
Allegri won the Scudetto in his first season in charge of Milan in 2010-11, their first title since 2004.
He then enjoyed a trophy-laden spell in charge of Juventus between 2014 and 2019, where he won the Serie A title in five consecutive seasons.
