Abia State Diaspora Commission Drums Support For Gov Otti
The Executive Secretary of the Abia State Diaspora Commission, Rev Annie Onu, has called on members of the Arochukwu Labour Party and Abia Arise Movement to remain steadfast in their support for the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, in order to consolidate on the gains of good governance and democratic dividends currently being delivered across the state.
Rev. Onu made this call during a familiarization visit to the Arochukwu Labour Party and members of the Abia Arise Movement in Atani Arochukwu, Arochukwu Local Government Area, where she addressed a gathering of grassroots stakeholders, community leaders, and political mobilizers.
Speaking during the event, Rev. Onu described Dr. Alex Chioma Otti as “God-sent and purpose-driven,” highlighting his transformational policies, people-oriented governance, and fiscal transparency as key indicators of the new Abia that is fast emerging.
She emphasized the importance of unity, vigilance, and continued civic engagement as the administration advanced into the second half of its first tenure.
“Dr. Alex Choma Otti OFR has demonstrated visionary leadership, integrity, and inclusive governance; with just two years left in this first term, it is imperative that all hands remain on deck to ensure the continuity of purposeful leadership beyond 2027,” she stated. “We must guard our hearts and remain focused”
Rev. Onu further encouraged members of the movement to intensify grassroots mobilization efforts and community enlightenment programs to keep the people informed about the practical achievements and future vision of Dr. Otti-led administration. She further commended the coordinator/President Abia Arise Hon. Nkem Okoro for organizing such a resounding and resourceful engagement meeting.
In their separate remarks, The Labour Party Chairman Mazi G.N. Onuoha, the Councillor representing Ward 3 in Arochukwu LGA, Hon. Okoro Chinenye Emmanuel, Ward 3 Labour Party Chairman Mazi Chukwuma Ota, and Coordinator of Abia Arise Movement, Mazi Martins Ngeranya expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Secretary for her visit and moral support.
They reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Labour Party and the progressive agenda of Governor Alex Otti.
“We are fully on the ground and resolute in our support. Come 2027, we will mobilize and vote en masse to ensure that no vote is lost. The people of Arochukwu are with Governor Otti and the Labour Party,” they declared.
The event underscores a significant moment of solidarity, continuous engagement, grassroots movements, and reinforces the growing momentum behind the state’s development strides under the current administration, and buttresses the commitment of Abians at home and in the diaspora to the success of Governor Otti’s transformative vision for Abia State.
