Abia Postpones Teachers Recruitment CBT Exam
The Abia State Government has announced a postponement of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) for the ongoing teachers’ recruitment exercise.
Initially scheduled to be held on March 6th and 7th, the examination has now been rescheduled to March 18th and 19th, respectively.
This was made known in an official press release, as seen by THE WHISTLER on Thursday, issued by the Office of the Honourable Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Goodluck Ubochi.
According to the statement, all shortlisted candidates are advised to take note of the new dates and make necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and successful examination process.
The ministry also emphasized the importance of candidates visiting the official Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education recruitment portal for additional details regarding the exercise.
“Candidates who may have misplaced their User ID or Password can easily retrieve them by using the ‘Forgot ID’ or ‘Forgot Password’ feature on the portal,” the statement read.
Furthermore, the release noted that the government has made provisions for all shortlisted candidates to print their photo cards, which contain essential details such as the CBT centre, batch, and allotted time for their examination.
Candidates are advised to ensure they have this document ready before the test date to avoid any inconveniences.
The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education reassured the public that its helplines remain open to attend to any inquiries, complaints, or assistance that candidates may require, and urged all applicants to remain patient and follow the necessary guidelines to ensure a seamless recruitment process.
