Abia Newspaper Staff Advised To Show Professionalism

The Abia State Government has called on the staff of Abia Newspapers, a publishing corporation of the state government, to show high levels of professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
The secretary to the state government, Professor Kenneth Kalu, advised while addressing the management of the corporation, who were in his office for a working visit.
Prof. Kalu advised them to support the government’s good vision by diligently carrying out their duties effectively and efficiently.
Kalu, who described the Abia Newspapers and Publishing Corporation as a very strategic medium of information dissemination in the state, stressed the need for the spirit of unity of purpose to exist among the staff for remarkable progress, adding that their challenges will be looked into with a view to tackling them.
In his remark, the General Manager of Abia Newspapers and Publishing Corporation, Hon. Jones Nnanna Ike, lauded the SSG for finding time to visit the corporation and appreciated Governor Alex Otti for the positive transformation witnessed today in the corporation.
He reeled out some of the challenges facing the corporation, which include a lack of operational vehicles, computers, and cameras, among others.
In a vote of thanks, the HOD Administration in the corporation, Mr Dandy Nwachukwu, lauded the SSG Professor Kalu for the visit and pledged their continued loyalty to the Dr Alex Otti-led administration.
