Abia LG Secretaries Advised To Observe Otti’s Rebuilding Agenda
The Abia State government has charged the secretaries of the various local governments (SECLOGS) to see their appointment as an opportunity to contribute to the rebuilding agenda of the present administration led by Governor Alex Otti.
Secretary to the State Government Prof. Kenneth Kalu, who gave the admonition when he received the members of the SECLOGS Forum who paid him a courtesy visit in his office, pointed out that secretaries of local government are critical agents in the rebuilding process, especially as it affects the grassroots.
Prof. Kalu promised that a liaison office domiciled in the office of the SSG will be created for them to ease their operations.
He further advised them to imbibe the spirit of unity of purpose in the discharge of their duties and urged them to remain focused and assist Governor Otti to realise his good vision of rebuilding a glorious Abia State.
Earlier in his remark, the chairman SECLOGS forum, Chief Iroabuchi James, said the visit was to present themselves to the SSG, having been recently inaugurated .
He used the opportunity to commend Governor Alex Otti ‘s massive developmental strides and pledged their continued loyalty and support.
