2027: Only God knows tomorrow – Eze to Wike

A former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New Peoples Democratic Party, nPDP, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has told former Governor Nyesom Wike that only God knows tomorrow.

According to Eze, no man, no matter how highly placed, should take the place of God in the affairs of men.

According to the All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain, people are becoming worried with the way the immediate past Rivers State governor goes about boasting and insulting perceived political foes as if he owns life.

Eze was of the opinion that if the FCT Minister Wike had the power of life and death, anybody who goes against his will certainly, will die.

He, however, expressed the strong belief that the Wike cannot kick his former boss, Chibuike Amaechi out of politics, insisting that the former Minister of Transportation is returning to power.

Eze said it was absolutely out of place for Wike to think that he could decide Amaechi’s fate in politics, adding, “he doesn’t know what tomorrow holds.”

Eze, an ally to the former Transportation Minister, believes “Amaechi will surely return to power with other democrats and progressives”.

Eze said that Wike and his current boss, President Bola Tinubu should be worried because Nigerians were waiting to kick them out of office in 2027 and not Amaechi or any other member of the coalition.

“The 2027 General elections is not necessarily between the All Progressives Congress and African Democratic Congress, ADC, but APC and Nigerians, impoverished by the Tinubu’s clueless administration,” he said.

According to the statement, the inability of the present administration to tackle the economic woes and insecurity facing Nigerians is the undoing of this administration.

“Just like Amaechi said, President Tinubu has disappointed Nigerians.

“His leadership style, if he has any, has plunged Nigeria into a state of quagmire, hopelessness,” he claimed.
