Two African countries have now qualified for the 2026 World Cup in the US, Mexico and Canada.

Tunisia became the second team from the continent to book their spot, following a dramatic 1-0 victory over Equatorial Guinea on Monday night.

The Carthage Eagles entered the game seven points ahead of Namibia.

The North Africans needed a win to be certain of qualification, and they secured it with the last kick of the match through Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane.

They join Morocco, which confirmed their place last weekend.

The Atlas Lions had already secured qualification after winning all their fixtures to date, but they underlined their dominance with a 2-0 victory over Zambia on Monday.
