Bafana Bafana of South Africa head coach, Hugo Broos has released his final 23-man squad for the side’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Nigeria.

Broos announced a 48-man preliminary list for both games last week.

The Belgian has now pruned down the list by removing 25 players.

The squad is dominated by local -based players, with only six foreign-based stars included.

South Africa will be away to Lesotho on Saturday, September 6.

They will host Nigeria four days later at the Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein.

Bafana Bafana currently top Group C standings with 13 points from six games.
