The Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, has named Gabon’s Pierre Ghislain Atcho as centre referee for the 2026 World Cup qualifying fixture between Bafana Bafana of South Africa, and Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Atcho will be assisted by his compatriots Boris Marlaise Ditsoga, Amos Abeigne Ndong and Cregue Fleury Moukagni.

Ditsoga will serve as assistant referee one, while Ndong will be assistant referee two.

Another Gabonese, Moukagni will be the first official.

Democratic Republic of Congo’s Olivier Safari Kabene will serve as the referee assessor, while Ugandan Mike Letti is the match commissioner.

The matchday eight encounter will hold at the Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein next week Tuesday.
