Taylor Swift has emerged as the world’s richest female musician.

Her financial success was credited to her sold-out global The Eras Tour and the value of her entire music catalogue.

The 34-year-old is the first singer to become a billionaire only from her songs and live performances.

According to Forbes, Taylor Swift became the world’s richest singer with a net worth of $1.6 billion.

Part of her fortune includes $600 million from royalties and touring and another $600 million from her music catalogue.

Taylor Swift has now become the second-world richest musician, after Jay-Z, who is worth around $2.5 billion.

She is ranked 2,117 on Forbes list of world’s billionaires, surpassing other female musicians like Celine Dion at $550 million, Rihanna at $1.4 billion, Beyoncé at $760 million, and Madonna at $850 million.

Rihanna, who ranked 2,336 on Forbes list, was previously the world’s richest female musician when her net worth was $1.7 billion.
