‘Stop saying you’re the best rapper’ – Odumodublvck slams Blaqbonez
Nigerian hip-hop artist, Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has asked his colleague Blaqbonez to stop parading himself as the best rapper in the country.
DAILY POST reported that the beef between the duo recently escalated after they engaged in a fierce social media battle.
The beef started after Blaqbonez dissed Odumodublvck in his latest track with A-Q, ‘Who’s Really Rapping’.
Speaking about his beef with Blaqbonez in a recent interview with Jusmen 105.7, Odumodublvck stated that Blaqbonez referring to himself as the best rapper is disrespectful to Nigerian rap legends.
“Do you know what it is for you to say you are the best rapper in Nigeria?,” he asked. “Stop joking. You are not the best rapper. M.I is the best rapper, Vector is the best rapper. If you were the best rapper, you would have won the best rap album of the Year [at the Headies]. You were not even nominated for best rap single,” he said.
“I’m not better than Phyno as a rapper. Look at his legacy. [There is]Olamide, Vector, M.I, Modenine, Ghost, Tec… So, for me to come and say I’m the best rapper, that means I’ve to be the best rapper. But if you’re not, Stop saying it. It’s getting on my nerves, bro. You can get smacked in the face for that kind of sh*t.
“Stop lying to the kids that you are the best. Nobody is even booking you for shows. Nobody is saying that you’re a wack artist, you’re an amazing artist. But don’t come and use your insecurities to close the door.”
