The Met Gala is known for its bold fashion and unforgettable red carpet moments, but some stars have taken things a step further by rocking their baby bumps at fashion’s biggest night.

From surprise reveals to jaw-dropping couture, these celebrities proved that pregnancy is no barrier to style.

On the heels of Rihanna’s baby bump debut at the 2025 Met Gala, here are 6 celebrities who walked the carpet while pregnant.

1. Rihanna (2025)

The queen of pregnancy style, Rihanna made headlines yet again in 2025 by confirming baby number three with a stunning bump reveal at the Met Gala. This isn’t her first time; in 2023, she also attended visibly pregnant with her second child, following her headline-making Super Bowl halftime show performance where she announced the pregnancy live on stage. She currently has two sons with A$AP Rocky, now another bundle of joy is baking.

2. Cardi B (2021)

The queen of the Bardi Gang is next on this list. Back in 2021, when she was pregnant with her first child, Kulture, Cardi B stunned in a form-fitting embellished gown that perfectly showed off her pregnancy.  On the red carpet, she wore an ornate gilded headpiece and let her naturally textured curls spill down her back. Known for turning heads, she embraced her baby bump with confidence and elegance.

3. Kim Kardashian (2015)

While heavily pregnant with her second child, Saint West, Kim opted for a custom Roberto Cavalli gown that became one of her most talked-about Met Gala looks. She proudly celebrated her pregnancy while staying true to her signature style.

4. Blake Lively (2016)

Though subtle, the actress and wife of Ryan Reynolds was in the early stages of pregnancy with her second child when she graced the Met Gala in a blush pink Burberry gown. The look was ethereal and sparked speculation even before an official announcement.

5. Serena Williams (2017)

Pregnant with her first child, the Grand Slam champion Serena Williams glowed in an emerald green Atelier Versace gown. In fact, Williams seems to like the Met Gala so much, she even used it as a venue to flaunt her baby bump in 2017, when she was pregnant with her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. Oh, then in 2023, she used it to announce her second pregnancy.

6. Kerry Washington (2016)

Kerry Washington walked the carpet pregnant with her second child, wearing a black lace Marc Jacobs gown. She embraced gothic glam and didn’t shy away from making a powerful, fashion-forward statement.
