Singer Beyoncé set the record two years ago with 23 #1s following the release of her critically acclaimed album, Renaissance.
DAILY POST reports that Kendrick Lamar has, since mid-last year, recorded a new level of commercial success following his hip-hop beef with Canadian rapper Drake.
His new album, GNX, is currently the number one album on the Billboard 200 chart.
His song Luther, featuring SZA, is number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a third week.
