I’m staying away from toxicity — Bobrisky reflects on life abroad

Controversial Nigerian internet personality and socialite Bobrisky has opened up about the personal transformation he’s undergone since relocating abroad, emphasising a desire for peace and a life free from toxicity.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Bobrisky expressed how life outside Nigeria has given him a new perspective on things, stressing how he appreciates life more these days.

I understand life more after relocating from Nigeria. Things we see as a big deal back home are nothing to us here. You will appreciate life more once you cross over here. At this point, I embraced peace and staying clear from toxicity.

This post comes months after Bobrisky revealed that he left Nigeria to prioritise his mental health and overall sanity. In November 2024, he shared that the pressure, public scrutiny, and constant attacks he faced in the country became overwhelming, pushing him to seek a new environment.

At the time, he wrote:

Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily… I need to attend to my sanity and my health. Few Nigeria security agencies try everything to frustrate me but naaa i gat God.

In April 2025, however, during what was believed to be a brief return to the country, reports surfaced alleging that Bobrisky had been arrested by immigration officials, yet again
