Creating new states in today’s Nigeria is madness – Rapper N6
Popular on-air personality and rapper, Nnamdi Nwabasili, better known as N6, has reacted to the agitations for the creation of additional states in Nigeria.
DAILY POST reported that the House of Representatives revealed that it had received proposals for the creation of 31 new states.
Recently, an unconfirmed report has been making the rounds on social media that “the Senate has approved 12 new states.”
Reacting via his X handle on Friday, N6 said creating more states in today’s Nigeria “is madness.”
He claimed that the creation of additional states will give room for more political offices and increased corruption.
He wrote, “Creating 12 new states in today’s Nigeria is madness. 12 new governors and deputy governors. 12 new government house construction projects. 12 new white elephant airport projects. Lord have mercy.”
