‘Bullets stuck in my head’ – Angela Okorie reveals effects of alleged assassination attempt

Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has revealed that fragments from a bullet fired at her in a 2019 assassination attempt are still lodged in her head.

Sharing footage of her medical evaluations, the actress explained that she has spent two weeks visiting hospitals due to health issues and was subsequently advised by her doctor to remain on bed rest.

After undergoing medical scans and tests, Okorie revealed that more bullet fragments have surfaced in her head over time, which has led to blurry vision and frequent headaches.

She captioned, “Last two weeks have been so hectic lovers. It has been from visiting one hospital to another, running a series of tests after tests on my head and body and I have not been feeling too well either, so my doctor advised that I should be placed on bed rest. Seriously, good health is underestimated.

“I went for my checkups, and found out that there were still fragments of bullet in my head. As years go by, even more bullets still come out. But at the end of the day, God showeth mercy. God is with me no doubt and may his name be praised. Amen. #legitqueen.”

Recall that the actress was attacked by gunmen in December 2019, sustaining multiple head injuries in the encounter.

Okorie has consistently maintained that the attack was orchestrated by individuals within the movie industry and has vowed never to forgive those responsible.
