BBNaija 10: ‘It’s deeper than the three fishes remark’ – Big Soso opens up on clash with Dede

Evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Big Soso, has shed fresh light on her widely publicised clash with Dede, which dominated headlines during the show.

Speaking in a new interview on Yup Weekly Tea with Princess alongside evicted housemates Doris and Ivatar, Big Soso revealed that the altercation went deeper than the viral “three fishes” remark that first triggered their fight.

According to her, the dispute stemmed from what she perceived as Dede’s lack of teamwork and inclusiveness, particularly in the kitchen.

“The kitchen is a very safe place in the house. When you’re cooking, you’re putting all of your emotions into it. There’s this joy that comes. So even people who are angry with you, once they chop, everybody’s happy,” she explained.

She recalled that the tension boiled over after Dede referred to her close allies Kola, Koyin, and Jason Jae as her “three fishes.”

Encouraged by fellow housemate Mide, she confronted Dede about her attitude, accusing her of being self-centered.

“I told her, ‘I feel like you’re not supportive or a team player. You often put yourself first, and I don’t like that. Can you try to help out and be more inclusive?’ And she responded defensively, saying that she (Dede) is a selfish person, and that’s when our argument escalated.”

The heated exchange quickly escalated, though Big Soso admitted that some of her words were too harsh.

Reflecting on the fallout, Big Soso stressed that true beauty is measured not only by appearance but also by character, integrity, and inclusiveness.
