Shopify partners San Francisco-Based Delivery Software company Onfleet, to Boost Product Delivery Service

Delivery management software platform Onfleet announced that Shopify online orders are now connected with Onfleet’s platform thanks to a new agreement with e-commerce and point-of-sale company Shopify Inc.

Onfleet’s Chris Garrison, Director of Enterprise Sales & Strategic Partnerships, confirmed the partnership in a press release on Monday.

Onfleet is a San Francisco-based technology company that claims it helps businesses streamline their delivery processes.

The integration automatically creates Onfleet delivery tasks from Shopify fulfilment orders, allowing Shopify users visibility into real-time delivery status “from click to doorstep.”

“[O]ur partnership is a strategic fit because it helps bridge the gap between order and delivery fulfilment,” Chris Garrison, director of enterprise sales and strategic partnerships at Onfleet, said in the release.

“Our customers appreciate the ease of integrations and open API we offer to improve their business processes.”

According to the statement, the integration is available to Onfleet customers who use Shopify, Shopify customers who offer delivery, and organisations interested in offering these services. The integration can be found in the Onfleet Integrations Marketplace.

Newsng understands that today’s announcement will enable firms to compete at the forefront of the online purchasing and delivery market.

Retailers who use the Onfleet and Shopify integration will be able to operate their operations more efficiently and effectively, resulting in more satisfied consumers.

We earlier reported that Target Corp. is attempting to overtake its more established rivals, Walmart Inc. and Amazon.com Inc., by expanding its marketplace for independent retailers through a partnership with e-commerce leader Shopify Inc.
