Transfer: ‘He’s genius’ — Man City’s newest recruit hails Guardiola

Manchester City’s latest recruit, IIkay Gundogan, has hailed manager Pep Guardiola after re-joining the Premier League champions.

The Germany international described Guardiola as a ‘genius,’ adding that the Spaniard has all sorts of solutions for every probability in the game.

The 33-year-old spoke after re-signing for the Cityzens on Friday after leaving Barcelona.

“Tactically, he [Guardiola] is a genius,” Gundogan told the club’s website.

“He has all sorts of solutions for every probability in the game, for everything that’s happening on the pitch. He can give you a solution you know in just a very short amount of time.”
