Nottingham Forest make mass changes for Chelsea clash

Nottingham Forest have made mass changes to their team to face Chelsea in the Premier League this afternoon.

Vitor Pereira has rotated his team with one eye on the club’s Europa League semi-final second leg against Aston Villa on Thursday night. Forest lead 1-0 from the first meeting and are a positive result away from a first European final in 46 years.

As a result, Pereira has left out big names including Morgan Gibbs-White, Chris Wood, Elliot Anderson and Nikola Milenkovic this afternoon.

Luca Netz makes his first start for Forest since signing from Borussia Monchengladbach last summer. The German has played just 71 minutes of Premier League football since that switch.

There’s also a rare league outing for James McAtee, who has similarly struggled to establish himself at the City Ground. The £30m recruit from Manchester City makes only his second Premier League start of the season at Stamford Bridge.
